Some of the best websites.

I imagine most of my 'blogs' (is that what you call them?) will be dedicated to the web sites I happen to bump into on my travels. Now that I'm unemployed and have broadband I have plenty of time to 'surf the net' and find some great web sites. Unfortunately, the more you look around the net the more disillusioned you become with its content… lots of it is complete rubbish. Below is a list of some of the best sites (In categories). These links are also available on my web site (probably... maybe… if I get time that is).

ebaby - Apparently they don't sell babies on Ebay….so try ebaby instead!

Deathclock - Find out when you're going to die so that you can plan things in advance. This is accurate to just a few days apparently.

Earthcam - Listing of some of the best webcams in the world - don't knock it until you've tried it!

Subservient Chicken - Tell the chicken what to do, and he does it. Fantastic! (Not really a webcam…but like one!)

VivaLasVegasWeddings - Live video feed of a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. If getting married in one of those places isn't bad enough…then getting your family and friends to watch the wedding on the internet is worse!

Anderson County Detention Facility - Live video of the arresting office of a Tennessee Police Department. This is an actual video camera - you'll need a fast internet connection and windows media player 9 to watch it. It's bloody worth it though.

BubbleCam - More of a girlie thing (don't girls like bubbles?). It's basically a camera in someone's garden and you get to control a bubble machine.

Cats-Meow - Live video stream from a karaoke bar in New Orleans - Apparently it's pretty good when people are actually there (You'll have to work out the time differences)

FindaGrave - Find the grave of a famous person…Some people might find it interesting anyway.
