This is a picture of the lovely block of flats that tarnish the view from my bedroom window. I'm sure you can guess what kind of people live there - When the council built it they thought it would be a good idea to put it on 'stilts' so that there would be a nice unlit 'safe' area underneath for "youffs" to deal drugs and beat up innocent passers by...These 'architects' must be very proud of themselves.
incidentally, the reason I took this picture was because I was trying to get a picture of one of the local twats riding a stolen moped through there (unfortunately, due to the long exposure time and the natural delay of digital cameras, I actually missed the guy completely!).
I won't tell you were the flats are, but the bright lights in the top right corner belong to some of the buildings on the Canary Wharf Estate.

You shouldn't knock the architects. If the council had been progressive it might have 'found' asbestos, decanted all the residents while it was made safe and then, having done all that, sold it to a private developer because the council estate scum probably couldn't be bothered to move again.
You shouldn't confuse you bigoted hatred of council estate scum with a bigoted hatred of council estates.
The buildings aren't the ones down the chippy swilling Skol while they wait for their chips while Wayne's buying fags, are they?
I would still hate this building whether it were full of council estate scum or not.
Of course, the reality is, it's such a hideous building that ONLY council estate scum would live there.
Do council estate scum get to choose? Don't the council just tell them where they are going to live?
