David Davis to 'woo wristband generation'

This seems like a good idea. Target the things that young people dislike - racism, bullying, cancer etc. The only flaw, and it's a pretty big flaw, is that most of the 'wristband generation' have no idea what the wristband they're wearing stands for - they just know it's fashionable. They buy replica wristbands from market stalls (rather than the actual ones that donate money to charity).

The fact of the matter is, the reason Labour have done so well over the years is that they have taken all of what was succesful about the Conservative government and made it their own. All the Conservatives have left are the 'stuffy right wing' policies which alienate a large number of voters. By voting for New Labour people get to vote Conservative without actually having to tick the Conservative box!
